Katara Publishing House has announced that its pavilion at the Tunis International Book Fair (TIBF) will hold book-signing sessions by Tunisian authors who have won in successive editions of the Katara Prize for Arabic Fiction.
Among them are 'The Natour author Lazhar bin al-Arabi Zinad', 'Al-Qardash author Walid bin Ahme'
, 'Rosalia, the Lioness of the Mountain author Munira Ra’awi', and 'Ridha bin Farah Jawadi', author of 'The Plastic Architecture in the Arab Novelist Achievement, local Arabic daily Arrayah reported.
Katara is participating in the current edition of the book fair as a guest of honour along with Iraq.
Katara revealed that it has organised a seminar through Katara Publishing House, revolving around the experience of the Katara Prize for Arabic Fiction and featuring a lecture by Dr Khaled Abdul Rahim al-Sayed, director of the Department of Cultural Affairs and Events.
The book fair is being held under the slogan 'Fly ... with the Wings of the Book'.
