The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has reiterated the need to monitor children's movements to ensure their safety and prevent drowning accidents. "Please monitor your children and ensure their safety while swimming and on the beach. Their safety is our responsibility," the MoI tweeted. In an accompanying advisory, the ministry said children should not be allowed to swim on the beach except in the presence of their parents or adult companions. It is necessary to monitor children whether in the sea or on the beach. The MoI also recommended that children wear life jackets before swimming.
