Ramadan Walking Football Cup was held at Al Jazeera Academy to commemorate the holy month, bringing together a number of teams from various expatriate communities.
The event was organised by Walking Football Federation Qatar president Farhan al-Sayed and sponsored by LuLu. The Ugandan team won the final, beating Ghana in a closely contested match, 3-1, while the Sri Lankan team took the 3rd place after besting the Doha team.
The Nigerian team, on the other hand, finished 5th. The event was also attended by El Salvador ambassador Milton Alcides Magana.
