Chiyoda Almana Engineering celebrated World Health Day recently with a medical camp in partnership with Naseem Healthcare, a statement said Wednesday.
The event, with the motto 'Health for All' was attended by more than 100 employees.
The company's employees got an opportunity to undergo medical checks followed by consultations with a general physician and a dentist.
A unique interactive session was also held with a psychiatrist about stress management at work, followed by one-to-one consultation for employees.
The general physician also delivered an online awareness session on diet for good health.
The event also focused on maintaining health during the holy month of Ramadan, and several educational posters were displayed on various health issues and how to overcome them.
In addition the company’s HSE carried out a Health Standdown with managing director Toshikazu Hirobe addressing the employees.
He highlighted the importance of World Health Day by emphasising the Covid-19 pandemic and the need to take precautions to protect oneself and their families from various diseases.
Hirobe urged employees to adhere to health protocols and doctors' advice, renewing their commitment to prioritising their health and well-being and that of their communities.
The event was a great success, and Chiyoda Almana Engineering showed its commitment to promoting a healthy work environment for its employees.
