Qatar Charity (QC), on the advent of Eid al-Fitr, has extended its heartfelt congratulations and sincere wishes to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, the Qatari leadership, government, citizens, residents, the Arab and Islamic nations, and all the supporters of the ‘Ramadan: Leave Your Mark’ campaign, praying to Almighty Allah to accept their good deeds and let peace, harmony, and happiness prevail in the world.

In a statement, Qatar Charity extended special thanks to the benefactors, public and private sector organisations, media, social media influencers, social figures, and voluntary and youth initiatives, who contributed to supporting the implementation of the projects within and outside Qatar under the ‘Ramadan: Leave Your Mark’ campaign.

QC noted that they contributed to bringing relief to those in debt, thousands of low-income families, and workers within the country, and alleviating the suffering of nearly 1mn people, including refugees, the displaced and the vulnerable, by meeting their needs in the holy month.

Qatar Charity also noted that they made efforts in bringing joy to orphans, poor families and their children in many countries of the world through different Ramadan projects such as Feed the Fasting, Eid clothing and Zakat al-Fitr, praying to Allah to bless them.

QC has urged benefactors to continue supporting the needy and the poor with their generosity. It noted that charity and humanitarian work should continue throughout the year, especially in the light of challenging and exceptional circumstances experienced by many communities worldwide.
