Ooredoo, a leading national patron of sporting excellence, announced yesterday its new sponsorship agreement with Al Duhail Sports Club, best known for its top-performing football team which plays in the Qatar Stars League.
The agreement was signed at Ooredoo’s headquarters in West Bay, in the presence of Ooredoo Qatar’s CEO Sheikh Ali bin Jabor al-Thani, and Vice-President of Al Duhail Sports Club Khalifa al-Sulaiti. The contract was signed by Ooredoo Chief Business Officer Thani al-Malki and Adnan al-Ali, executive director at Al Duhail SC. These sponsorship arrangements will see Ooredoo lending support to Al Duhail SC in its pursuit of excellence, especially in football.
As part of this collaboration, Ooredoo will be backing the growth and development of the Club by sponsoring its facilities, as well as the Q Gym and night market. Ooredoo will also be branding the matchday and training shirts of all five Under 23 teams, showcasing its commitment to supporting grassroots football.
The sponsorship deal will also involve Ooredoo working closely with Al Duhail SC’s top three players to promote sport and its benefits to the community.
