HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani chaired the Cabinet's regular meeting held on Wednesday through video conferencing.
Following the meeting, HE the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs issued the following statement:
The Cabinet considered the topics listed on its agenda as follows:
The Cabinet approved - in principle - a draft law amending some provisions of Law No. (1) of 2012 on the regulation and control of advertisement placement.
The Cabinet approved a draft Amiri Decision organising the General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority.
The Cabinet approved a number of draft executive decisions for Law No. (22) of 2021 regulating healthcare services in the country.
The Cabinet approved a draft decision of the Minister of State for Energy Affairs extending the reconciliation deadline for contractors addressed in Article (20) of Decision No. (2) of 2022 defining the rules governing electrical connections and water installations, and the conditions for granting and renewing licenses to practice such works.
The Cabinet also endorsed the following:
1- A draft memorandum of understanding between the Financial Information Unit in the State of Qatar and the National Center for Financial Information in the Sultanate of Oman in the field of exchanging information related to money laundering and associated predicate offenses, and terrorist financing.
2- A draft memorandum of understanding for joint cooperation in health fields between the Ministry of Public Health in the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Health in the Republic of Peru.
