Qatar SC will play host to Tunisian club CS Sfaxien in their second-leg match in the first qualifying round of King Salman Club Cup at the Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium of Qatar Sports Club today at 10pm. The first leg was held at the Stade Taieb Mhiri in Sfax, Tunisia, on April 3 and the match ended in a goalless draw.
The winner on aggregate will join Group A, also featuring Esperance de Tunis, Al Ittihad of Saudi Arabia and Iraq’s Al Shorta. Qatar SC were eager to get a positive result in the first-leg match and The Kings achieved that ahead of the crucial home clash. Qatar SC’s Moroccan coach Youssef Safri would be expecting his wards to do better this time around when they face Sfaxien, under Egyptian coach Hossam al-Badri, on home turf. Qatar SC mainly rely on players such as Sebastian Soria, Javi Martinez, Omar al-Emadi, Moataz Majed and Bashar Rasan.
