Qatar Manpower Solutions Co (WISA) has warned against fake accounts impersonating the company's identity through social media platforms and claiming to provide the company's services to the public.
WISA said in a statement yesterday that there are numerous fake accounts that are impersonating the company's identity on social media platforms, especially on Instagram. Among these fake accounts are the following - 3_mahara_hr, wisa_qatar, and wisa_qatar1 - which claim to provide the company's services to the public, such as recruiting workers or employing others.
The fraudsters are using the company's logo and graphics while requesting to communicate with customers via WhatsApp.
The company has reminded followers of its official identity on social media platforms, which are wisa_qa (Twitter) and wisa.qa (Instagram), inviting them to follow WISA's latest news only through those channels.
WISA noted that it has suspended and halted all activities of renting domestic workers involving third parties, as part of the new vision that the company is putting forward.
