Qatar Rail holds annual staff Iftar event

Marking the holy month of Ramadan, Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) has held its annual staff Iftar at Al Dafna Hall, Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel.
The company’s annual Iftar was attended by HE Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki al Subaie, Managing Director and CEO of Qatar Rail, the executive management and staff.
The annual Iftar event is one of Qatar Rail's staff welfare initiatives aimed at strengthening staff social engagement during the holy month. "This event is an annual tradition that reflects Qatar Rail’s continuous commitment to appreciating and recognising its staff and sharing with them the joy and blessing of the holy month," a press statement notes.
During the annual staff Iftar event, a video was displayed documenting Qatar Rail's key operational achievements, most prominent being the company's success in providing a safe and reliable travel experience for the fans who attended the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. In addition, a raffle draw for valuable prizes took place during the Ramadan Iftar event.
"Qatar Rail is committed to hosting this annual event during the holy month of Ramadan with the aim of strengthening the relationships between employees outside the work environment, in addition to emphasising the company's appreciation for the staff efforts in delivering the company's strategic visions, and supporting the ambitious journey of Qatar Rail," the statement adds.
