Katara crowned the winners of the 12th edition of the Holy Qur'an memorisation competition for the blessed month of Ramadan for 2023.
Jassim Fakhro, supervisor of the competition, presented the winning and participating children with financial prizes and certificates of appreciation. The competition included teaching parts of the Holy Qur'an and some of the noble hadiths of the Prophet (peace be upon him), in addition to teaching children to pray. Ablution, stories of the prophets, the Prophet's biography, and Islamic literature, under the supervision of a group of qualified memorisers and trainers accredited by the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs.
