Msheireb Downtown Doha (MDD) is gearing up to celebrate Garangao on the evenings of April 5-6, featuring several events and activations.
The Garangao celebrations will be held from 7.30pm to 8.30pm with a unique experience for children on board the Msheireb Tram, taking a tour of the city’s neighbourhoods and streets and receiving sweets and treats.
From 8.30pm to 10.30pm, children of all ages will have the chance to show their appreciation for the local culture and costumes with the Garangao Kids Fashion Festival at Sahat Al-Nakheel on Sikkat Alwadi Street.
Through a 360-photography opportunity, their photos will be displayed on the MDD screens and the M7 façade.
Registration is required for the Kids Fashion Festival.

Ramadan activities in Msheireb Downtown Doha continue with its events taking place on Sikkat Alwadi Street and at Al Barahat, with the support of sponsors and partners, including Qatar Tourism as the Official Partner and Ooredoo as the Exclusive Telecommunication Partner.
The Barahat Festival is a unique experience that combines entertainment and education, offering families a chance to indulge in a delicious Iftar and Suhoor buffet provided by Mandarin Oriental, while also gaining a deeper understanding of the traditions and culture of the holy month.
Art, culture and entertainment activations are set to welcome visitors of different ages from 9pm to 2am every night.
Al Sikka Ramadan Festival at Sikkat Wadi Msheireb continues to attract visitors to its vibrant celebration of culture, community, and creativity.
Visitors can experience a diverse array of creative themed installations, sample delicious food and drinks from the several food and beverage kiosks, and shop for unique and stylish products at the retail kiosks.
With a variety of offerings that cater to all ages and interests, the festival is a lively and engaging destination for families, friends, and individuals alike.
