Marking the World Autism Awareness Day, landmarks and buildings of various organisations in Qatar lit up in blue Sunday evening.
Msheireb Properties shared with Qatar and the world, their global message in supporting the rights of people with autism and raising awareness among community members about this cause. The streets and buildings at Msheireb Downtown Doha were lit up in blue, as an expression of support to this occasion. Such activations are a major part of Msheireb Properties' CSR programme.
The Qatar General Organisation for Standards and Metrology (QS) also has marked the World Autism Awareness Day, by lighting up in blue its headquarters at Abu Hamour area.
In solidarity with the Autism Awareness Day, Ashghal has lit up the Sabah Al-Ahmad Corridor, the Corniche, and the 5/6 arches in blue.
The Hamad Medical Corporation illuminated its multi-storey parking building in blue in celebration of the day.
The Ministry of Municipality buildings too got adorned in blue in solidaity.
