The Public Works Authority (Ashghal), represented by the Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads and Public Places in Qatar, in co-operation with Qatar Tourism, has announced the decoration of key areas in Doha - including Al Zaman Plaza, Corniche Tunnel and the Doha Corniche - with festive lighting during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. The project design reflects the spirit of the holy month as phrases using Arabic calligraphy and geometric shapes have been combined with lighting elements in green spaces and on pedestrian paths along with displays in the Corniche pedestrian tunnel.
