The Ramadan talk show ‘Wa Amenhum mein Khawf’ (secure them from fear) by the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, represented by the Department of Da’wah and Religious Guidance, started on Tuesday hosted prominent Islamic scholars, who discussed the role of civil society institutions in the manufacture of values.
The show was attended by Sheikh Dr Kamal Kida, Sheikh Dr Mohamed Abdul Karim, Sheikh Dr Essam al-Bashir, Sheikh Dr Khaled bin Mohamed al-Thani and Sheikh Dr. Kamal Akoud
The three part Ramadan talk show witnesses from 10 pm to 1 pm with the participation of scholars and thinkers from the Islamic world. It’s held in cooperation with Al Hazm Mall.
The sessions are broadcast live on Al Jazeera as well as through Awqaf’s social media accounts.
