The Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, represented by the Department of Da’wah and Religious Guidance, will hold its Ramadan talk show ‘Amenhum mein Khawf’ (secure them from fear), discussing problems and issues of concern for the present and future of the Islamic world and its comprehensive cultural security.
The ninth edition of the Ramadan talk show will be held from March 27-29 with the participation of scholars and thinkers from the Islamic world, in co-operation with Al Hazm. The one-hour session will be held from 10pm to 11pm on the given dates.
The show is aimed at correcting some misconceptions about the Islamic world and presenting the original visions, intellectual revisions and innovative presentations. The three sessions of the programme will discuss current topics while covering “the role of religious education in combating family disintegration”, “the role of civil society institutions in instilling virtues” and “Arabic language: reasons for reluctance, means of renewal, and its impact on values and originality”.
The sessions will be broadcast live on Al Jazeera as well as through Awqaf’s social media accounts.
