The IIEE-State of Qatar Chapter (IIEE-SQC), under the leadership of incumbent president, engineer Jimmy Michael Y Bugay and board of directors, conducted its first technical seminar and general membership meeting.
Don Albert Philippe C Pangcog (OIC/assistant labour attaché, Department of Migrant Workers Office, Qatar), Francis V Mapile (chairman, Professional Regulatory Board of Electrical Engineering), Jaime V Mendoza (member, Professional Regulatory Board of Electrical Engineering), Lyndon R Bague (IIEE 2023 national president), Reiniero C Supsup (IIEE 2023 foreign region governor), and Robert U Mabulay (former Middle East/foreign region governor and chapter adviser).
Mapile, Mendoza, Mario M Solang, Dionisio N Bacudio Jr and Primo G Beltran Jr gave technical presentations. There were a total of 150 on-site attendees and close to 200 online attendees.
The event had Marlon L Manantan (chapter vice president, technical affairs) as chair and Manny Boy N Cabalse (chapter assistant secretary) as vice chair.
