DPS-MIS debaters in Slovenia event

DPS Modern Indian School debaters Azhar Jaleel Muhammed, Krish Nagrani, Venkata Sai Surya Kauthik Basangi, Sharvi Patwardhan, Aryaman Adhlakha, Nikkil Dcruz, Krithika Kannan, Meenakshi Mukherjee , Adrija Bhattacharya along with their coach, Jaya Majumder, participated in the 21st edition of the International Debate Tournament Ljoutmer (IDTL) held at Gimnazija Franca Miklošiča, Slovenia, from March 9-11.
After debating in six preliminary rounds, Team Blue Oak consisting of Azhar, Krish, Surya was placed at the 16th position followed by Team Pink Laburnum with Krithika, Meenakshi, Adrija, at the 31st position, and Team Orange Maple with Sharvi, Aryman, Nikkil. at the 34th position.
In the individual category Azhar clinched the 49th position followed by Krish at 50th, Surya at 58th, Nikkil at 72nd, Sharvi at 92nd, Aryman at 98th, Meenakshi at 127th, and Kritika and Adrija at 128th and 143th, respectively. Majumder was among the top judges and judged all three main rounds until the grand final.
