The Public Works Authority, represented by the Roads Projects Department, has held an honouring ceremony for distinguished public relations officers (PROs) in the Local Areas Infrastructure Programme in “Residents Service and Communications” category.
Department manager engineer Saoud al-Tamimi hailed the role of PROs on site in keeping the residents satisfied with Ashghal’s services. Ashghal is keen to respond directly and swiftly to public requests, he said.
Ashghal hires experienced and highly competent PROs in the Local Areas Infrastructure Programme to constantly coordinate with local residents, respond to their inquiries, and mitigate the impact of construction works in the areas as much as possible, it was added.
