The programme aims to enhance participants' career skills and increase employment prospects by aligning their skills with organisational and market needs.
Through the programme, interns will gain practical working experience and explore various career paths in the cultural sector while enhancing skills such as self-discipline, time management, and cross-cultural competencies. The internship programme also offers networking opportunities and the chance to build connections with professionals in the industry.
"The Qatar Museums Spring Internship Programme is an exceptional opportunity for university students and fresh graduates to gain relevant experience in the cultural sector," said Jabor Mohamed A J Al Nuaimi, A/Director of Human Capital Department and Director of Procurement Department. "We encourage eligible candidates to apply before the deadline on 6 April 2023."
Throughout the programme interns will be introduced to the world of arts and culture, while working on numerous projects and assignments with set deadlines and receiving regular support from mentors, members of the management team via remote and regular working systems, group emails and calls. The programme is flexible, allowing interns to work in a regular or blended setting, depending on operational requirements.
