The Ministry of Labour organised yesterday an introductory seminar under the title "New Services of the Work Permits Department," as part of efforts to educate establishment owners about the updates made by the ministry's departments on the services provided within the strategy of developing smart electronic services, upgrading it in the work sector and contributing to facilitating and speeding up the delivery of services provided for those dealing with the ministry.
During the seminar the representatives of the Work Permits Department reviewed the most prominent new services for six new different requests including: a request for a work permit, a request for renewing a work permit, a request for cancelling a work permit, a request for issuing a labour recruitment approval, a request for renewing the validity of a labour recruitment approval, a request for amending a labour recruitment approval.
At the end of the seminar the representatives of the department answered the inquiries and questions of the establishment owners about the new services related to the management of work permits.
The organisation of this seminar comes as part of a series of seminars organised by the ministry with the aim of enhancing the awareness of the establishment owners of its electronic services and without the need to visit the external offices of the ministry as part of its endeavour to accelerate the completion of transactions and simplify procedures for the public.
