The Kuwaiti Constitutional Court has annulled the results of the 2022 National Assembly (parliament) elections and reinstated the 2020 parliament.
According to Kuwaiti news agency (KUNA), the Constitutional Court ruled that the election process held in September in five constituencies, was null and void due to discrepancies in the decree dissolving the 2020 National Assembly, and that the members of the 2020 parliament are reinstated.
On March 8, the Court decided to postpone the challenges filed against the 2022 elections results to March 19.
