The joint technical committee between Qatar and Gambia has held a meeting on labour and manpower issues and the regulation of the employment of Gambian workers in Qatar, based on the labour agreement signed between the two countries. The two sides discussed ways to develop bilateral labour relations, and reviewed developments in the work environment in Qatar, in addition to strengthening and developing procedures for recruiting Gambian workers in the country, especially technical and specialised workers.
