The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has launched the 'Cook Healthy, Live Healthy' cookbook, which compiles recipes created by members of the community who won the 'Cook Healthy, Live Healthy' competition organised by the ministry with the aim of encouraging healthy eating.
The launch of the book comes as part of the Ministry of Public Health's continuous efforts to raise awareness among the various segments of society in Qatar about the importance of adopting healthy lifestyles in line with Qatar Vision 2030 and to achieve the objectives of the National Health Strategy and the Public Health Strategy which aims to reduce the prevalence of obesity, overweight and the risk factors that increase the risk of chronic non-communicable diseases such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease and some types of cancer.
