The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, in collaboration with Katara Studios, has released a new eight-part docuseries that takes a deeper look at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Official Soundtrack. Called Now is All: The Tracks, the first episode is available to view now on the Qatar 2022 YouTube channel.
Viewers will get a glimpse of the incredible vision and effort behind the music videos and the stunning opening and closing ceremonies for the tournament. This includes exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with artists, producers, directors and special guests.
Instead of just one official song for the FIFA World Cup like previous editions, a full official soundtrack was released for Qatar 2022, featuring hits such as Hayya Hayya (Better Together), Arhbo, and Light the Sky, as well as the chart topping Dreamers, featuring Jung Kook from Korean super-group BTS.
The series includes interviews with stars RedOne, Ozuna, GIMS, Nora Fathi, Fahad Al Kubaisi and many more, taking viewers on a visual journey through everything involved in bringing smash hits to the world stage. There are episodes dedicated to the spectacular opening and closing ceremonies, and La’eeb – the Official Mascot for Qatar 2022. The episodes are between five and eight minutes in length.
Recognising that music, like football, is a universal language, bridging cultures and uniting people from all over the world, Now is All: The Tracks captures the magic behind creating music for a major sporting event. The series also highlights the welcoming spirit of Qatar, the festival of cultures combining through song, the passion of the artists and fans, and everything that made the first FIFA World Cup in the Middle East and Arab world so memorable.
