Ten lucky winners walked away with prizes that included cash, starting from QR10,000, and a BMW X5, during the first raffle draw of Shop Qatar by Qatar Tourism.
Held at Lagoona Mall on March 4, this was the first of the three raffle draws taking place throughout the shopping festival. For every QR200 spent, shoppers are eligible to enter a draw for mega prizes worth over QR2mn.
The next two draws are on March 11 at Place Vendome, and March 18, at Doha Festival City, at 8pm. There are six cash prizes worth QR10,000 each, three cash prizes worth QR20,000 each, and a grand prize of either a BMW X5 or a studio apartment in The Pearl-Qatar.
The winners of the first raffle draw are: QR10,000 - Diannes Isomen (Philippines), Elibola Insamny (Nigeria), Ilmore Miguel (Philippines), Mohamed Rabi (Egypt), Reyoof al-Marri (Qatar), Sopiko Makchache (Georgia); QR20,000 - Chinchu Pushpangathan (India), Mark Idmitas (Philippines), Marcel Gitomnel (Brazil); BMW X5 - MD Alameer (Bangladesh).
Shop Qatar, which runs to March 18, is participated by malls: Doha Festival City, Place Vendôme, Lagoona Mall, Landmark Mall, Al Khor Mall, City Center Mall, Hyatt Plaza, Mall of Qatar, Gulf Mall and Al Hazm.
