Pakistan Engineers Forum Qatar (PEFQ) organised a seminar on personal development, entitled ‘Developing Powerful Habits — An Islamic Perspective’ at The Next Generation School, Al Wakra campus.
The seminar, conducted by Amir Hussain Khadim, a corporate leader and renowned life coach in Qatar who specialises in mind-set, goal-setting, and accountability coaching, was attended by many Pakistani professionals.
The event commenced with the recitation from the Holy Qur’an, followed by national anthems of Pakistan and Qatar.
In his welcome address, Fahad Ismail highlighted the importance of continued personal development in creating a growth mind-set amongst individuals and societies.
The resource person drew his inspiration from the Islamic principle of Ihsan, the pursuit of excellence, and compared it with modern management and psychological concepts. He emphasised the responsibility to challenge oneself, create a positive mind-set, and strive for excellence in everything one does.
PEFQ president Riyaz Ahmed Bakali thanked the audience and the speaker for creating an excellent learning environment. He also praised all volunteers for managing another successful event.
Co-ordinator Syed Faiz Shah concluded the event by expressing his resolve to host more such events and make PEFQ the best platform for Pakistani professionals to network, grow and serve the community.
