The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) recently promoted a delegation of executives from seven Brazilian startups in Qatar during a visit aimed at exploring various avenues to deploy their solutions in the Arab market.
A number of training sessions and visits to innovation ecosystems and free zones that specialise in technology firms, as well as meetings with Brazilian diplomatic representatives in Qatar, were organised during the visit.
The ‘Demo Days’ were the highlight of the visit, which included pitch sessions that enabled the companies to showcase their solutions to potential partners that can facilitate their entrance into the Arab markets. Karen Mizuta, organiser of the mission and head of the Arab Brazilian Chamber innovation hub, the CCAB Lab, said: “The visit offered the companies plenty of opportunities to learn about various innovation ecosystems, examine how well their products are adopted in Arab markets, determine the need for potential adaptations, find previously unrecognised prospects and fortify their relationships with potential partners in the region.” Executives from diverse companies were part of the delegation.
The companies included Coill, Easy Hash, The Fienile Group, Orbital, Youdz, Silva Schutz, and Itaipu Technology Park.
