GCC residents and companions of GCC citizens entering Qatar through the Abu Samra border crossing should obtain a health insurance policy electronically before their arrival, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has advised. The policy needs to be obtained through this page on the Ministry of Public Health's website. In a related matter, the MoI advised that travellers coming to Qatar are requested to obtain a vehicle insurance policy electronically in order to expedite entry procedures at the Abu Samra border crossing.
