Mouawad appointed as GM of Marriott Marquis City Center and Marriott Executive Apartments City Center

Cyril Mouawad has been appointed as the multi property general manager of Marriott Marquis City center Doha and Marriott Executive Apartments City Center Doha.
He will overlook the operations of both properties, which features a combined portfolio of more than 800 rooms, 12 dining destinations, extensive conference and banqueting facilities including a fully equipped out door catering division, Spa, Gym and various Leisure facilities.
Mouawad joined Marriott International in early part of 2022 as the pre-opening Hotel Manager for Le Meridien City Center Doha. Under his leadership, the hotel successfully opened on October 30, 2022 in preparation for the international football season in the city. The hotel performed above expectations and exceeded its target.
An alumnus from Notre Dame University, he graduated in Business Administration and Economics with specialization in Hotel Management and Tourism, he has more than 24 years of professional hospitality experience.
