The Alumni Association of Ideal Indian School (IISAA) recently organised its first Women’s Throwball Tournament at the school premises. The participants were from the batch year 1995–2018. Team Force Fifteen lifted the championship trophy by defeating Team Smash in the finals.
IISAA cultural chairperson Dr Aqsa Patel welcomed the gathering. Sports committee chairman Faheem Faisal led the teams’ oath-taking. Sports secretary Charleston Cardozo hosted the prize distribution ceremony. The winners were awarded trophies, medals and certificates. All the participating teams and the supporting staff were presented with certificates of appreciation.
Speaking on the occasion, IISAA president Jishad Hyderali said that as each event concludes successfully, the association strives to become stronger, helping to achieve the vision of principal Shaikh Shamim Saheb.
