Qatar residents who hosted family and friends during the 2022 FIFA World Cup have been informed that their registered guests list has been reset.
With this, new guests can be added under one's registered property.
The information was provided through an email sent from the Hayya platform to such individuals. Confirming this, a Qatar resident who had hosted a family member during the World Cup told Gulf Times that the email stated the following: "Your Family and friends registered guests list for the 2022 World Cup has been reset. The announcement said the facility can be availed of subject to certain requirements, such as proof of confirmed hotel reservation or accommodation with family or friends approved through the Hayya portal; passport validity for a minimum of three months upon arrival in Qatar; health insurance; and round-trip ticket.
Based on this extension, Hayya Card holders visiting Qatar will have access to the following: the 'Hayya with Me' feature, which allows Hayya Card holders to invite up to three family members or friends; a multiple-entry permit to the country; and use of the e-Gate system for entry and exit via the State's ports.
