Aamal Company, one of the region’s leading diversified companies, is contemplating funding new investments to establish, operate or develop medical facilities in Egypt.
In this regard, Aamal has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population as part of enhancing the co-operation between them.
The MoU was signed between Aamal Company chief executive officer Rashid bin Ali al-Mansoori, and Dr Mohamed al-Tayeb, Adviser to the Egypt's Minister of Health and Population for Governance and Technical Affairs.
The agreement seeks to supports the development of health and medical services in Egypt and improves their efficiency, which also results in a financial return to Aamal Company.
"It gives me immense pleasure to witness this significant co-operation with Egypt, which is a result of our endeavour at Aamal to achieve the vision of Qatar, supporting the role of the private sector in achieving sustainable economic development in the country, and indicates the ability of the private sector to contribute to an advanced local economic development," said al-Mansoori.
He also emphasised the track record of Aamal in providing services to the medical sector, such pharmaceutical products and medical equipment, which makes it the partner-of-choice for investors and market leaders from various sectors.
