Assistant Secretary-General for Political and Negotiation Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdel Aziz Hamad Aluwaisheg met with the European Union (EU) Senior Coordinator for Maritime Security in the North West Indian Ocean Michael Pulch, on the sidelines of the 31st meeting of the GCC-EU joint cooperation committee.
The two sides reviewed the efforts exerted to enhance maritime security in the region. They stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation in maritime security protection. They also exchanged views on the current situations in the region.
