The Department of Air Cargo and Private Airports (consignment postal) has foiled the attempt to smuggle narcotic pills hidden inside a candies’ shipment. According to a tweet by the General Authority of Customs (GAC), a total of 453 pills were recovered during the inspection by customs officials.
GAC said that a seizure report was issued and the items were handed over to the competent authorities.
