An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale hit the Indonesian city of Sulawesi Monday morning.
The quake occurred at a depth of 12 km, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
So far, there have been no reports of material damage or human losses due to the earthquake.
Indonesia is regularly exposed to earthquakes due to its location along the Pacific Ring of Fire.
