Qatar Charity (QC) inaugurated an orphan hostel in Tando Muhammad Khan (TMK), a remote and rural area in the Sindh province of Pakistan to provide a safe and secure place for orphans to live and study.
The construction of the orphan hostel came as part of 'Rofaqa', an initiative of Qatar Charity for orphan and underprivileged children care, aiming to ensure a better future for them.
The hostel was constructed in cooperation with Pakistan Bait ul mal, a government social welfare body, to benefit 50 children.
This two-floor hostel covers an area of 350 square metres, and has 7 bedrooms, a drawing room, a big dining hall, a big kitchen, and a garden. Qatar Charity also equipped this hostel with bedding, furniture, utensils, and water facilities.
"I highly appreciate the efforts of Qatar Charity for our orphans. This hostel is their shelter, in which they have a quality and comfortable environment," said Syed Ehsan Ali Shah, the Assistant Director of Pakistan Bait Ul Mal.
