HE the Minister of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem has met with a number of licensed Qatari Haj campaign operators for the current Haj season, within the framework of the ministry's keenness to co-ordinate the efforts with the Haj contractors and provide all the support and facilitation to make the 1444 AH Haj season safe and exceptional by providing the best services to the State pilgrims, while preparing all means for pilgrims to perform Haj in the smoothest and most correct manner.
HE al-Ghanem said that he was briefed on their opinions and suggestions regarding the services provided by the ministry's Department of Haj and Umrah in co-ordination and co-operation with Qatari Haj campaigns. He was also briefed on their suggestions to enhance the co-ordination with the Department of Haj and Umrah during the registration period for those wanting to perform Haj through the electronic website and finalise all administrative procedures related the State's pilgrims easily.
He also learned about the preparations for the this year's Haj season, the safety of Qatari pilgrims and efforts to provide the healthcare for Qatari pilgrims and all means to facilitate the pilgrims to perform the rituals. HE al-Ghanem stressed the need for concerted efforts between the Department of Haj and Umrah and the Qatari Haj campaigns as they complement each other and their target is to serve pilgrims of the Holy Mosque.
