HE the Minister of Environment and Climate Change Dr Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed al-Thani inaugurated Friday a three-day 'Brouq: Art and Environment' event, organised by Al Hosh Gallery at Zekreet.
He toured various sections of the exhibition including Brouq event, Al Rawadah exhibition, and Bayt Al Imam, where he was introduced to the various paintings and works of art, which are considered a quantum leap in blending modern art with the Qatari environment.
HE Dr Faleh al-Thani also expressed his admiration of the exhibition and the idea behind it, stressing that this is considered a new way of the modern local art that aims at introducing the local environment. It also greatly participates in introducing the components of the local Qatari environment to the public.
HE the minister further stressed that the location of the exhibition was an excellent choice as Brouq Protectorate is a very distinctive site.
