Indian expatriate, Joseph Pallath Abraham (Shaji), a Qatar resident for over 40 years, passed away Friday at Hamad Medical Corporation where he had been undergoing treatment for various illnesses.
Abraham, 57, a well-known figure in the cultural and social circles of Qatar, had been working as senior public relations and administration manager of ABN Corporation Behzad Group for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Annie Joseph and sons, Shajin Joseph and Shine Joseph.
ABN Corporation chairman J K Menon said: "Joseph, who maintained an excellent relationship with my father, the late C K Menon, had been an important guide for me in my life journey".
Abraham’s relatives said that the funeral will take place in Qatar after his relatives arrive in Qatar.
