Friends of Uzhavoor Qatar, an association of Uzavoor residents from Kerala, India, honoured Steeson K Mathew, a faculty member of the physical education department at MES Indian School for winning a gold medal in shot put representing his state in the 43rd National Masters ‘Athletic Championship at Kolkata. Mathew was received at Hamad International Airport on his return from India by Friends of Uzhavoor Qatar office-bearers and later honoured at an event.
