Seven people were killed and 11 others were injured after a fire broke out in a multi-storey building that houses a hotel in central Moscow.
The fire broke out on the fifth floor of a 16-storey building, killing 7 people, including two children, and injuring 11 others, the Russian emergency services said in a statement cited by Russia Today (RT) TV channel.
The emergency service said that 50 people were evacuated, and the fire was brought under control.
On Feb. 9, two people died and others were injured as a result of a gas explosion and fire in a residential building in Novosibirsk in Russian Siberia.
