Israeli settlers renewed Tuesday their storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, under heavy protection by the Israeli occupation police.
Dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque from Mughrabi Gate side, carried out provocative tours, listened to explanations about the alleged "temple" and performed Talmudic rituals on the eastern side of the mosque, amid provocation of worshipers, Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported.
The occupation police continued to impose restrictions on the entry of Palestinians from Jerusalem and the occupied interior of the blessed mosque, checked their IDs, and detained some of them at its external gates.
The Jerusalemites renewed their calls to intensify presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque to thwart the settlers incursions and their Judaisation plans in the city of Jerusalem.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces arrested at Monday night five Palestinians from occupied Jerusalem, including a boy.
