HE the Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad al-Nabit met with French Chief of Staff General Thierry Burkhard, during his visit to the French Republic.
During the meeting, they reviewed military co-operation relations between the two sides. The meeting also saw the signing of the minutes of the meeting of the Qatari-French joint higher committee at its 24th session, which was signed for the Qatari side by HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces, and for the French side by the French Chief of Staff. It agreed on many joint activities and exercises as well as the exchange of experiences that will contribute to enhancing co-operation between the two friendly countries. The meeting of the Qatari-French joint higher committee is held annually alternately between the two countries. It was attended by a number of senior officers of the Qatar Armed Forces.
