Ideal Indian School recently hosted farewell and graduation ceremonies for outgoing class XII students. The farewell ceremonies for the boys and girls sections were organised by students of class XI.
The evenings were charged with emotions as the outgoing students recounted their days at the school. They thanked their juniors and also expressed their gratitude to the teachers for all the painstaking efforts in shaping their personalities.
Principal Shaik Shamim Saheb wished the outgoing students good luck in their exams and urged them to continue the legacy of the school and contribute to the country as nation-builders.
On this occasion, the names of students who are honoured with special awards for their outstanding performance in curricular and extracurricular activities were announced.
The winners are: Girls' Section: Best Girl – Science: Hanin Shamsheer; Best Girl – Commerce: Anjali Devi; Best in Conduct: Viveca Abigail Mendes and Shakira Shaikh; Best in Service: Sneha Anna Mathew and Najla Aleefa Candra; Best in Sports: Aseel Mohamed Osman, Muna Mushthak and Maryam; Best Prefect: Nahla Vahab Kundil and Anvica Marywill; Best Talent: Romiya Susan Varghese and Warda Manal; Special Jury Award: Sanha Salam, Amna Fathima and Amina Mohamed Ahmed
Boys' Section - Best Boy in Science: Adithya Pavitran; Best Boy in Commerce: Aromal Narayanan; Best in Conduct: Ahmed Faez Abdulrahman, Praise Olumde, Abdul Karim Nabil and Mohammed Elsadig Abdulla; Best Talent: Bharath R Nair and Ebenezar Ranjan Babu; Best in Sports: Shahad Shafee and Nithin Krishna; Best in Service: Ibrahim Ahmed and Abdulla Noor; Best Prefect: Aaron Varghese John; Special Jury Award: Khaled Mohd. Abdul Qadir, Aman Hashim, Abdulla Roshan and Adnan Sawad.
The school presented each outgoing student with a graduation souvenir. Heads of sections and departments and teaching staff attended the function.
The graduation ceremony saw school president Dr Hassan Kunhi M P, principal Shaik Shamim Saheb and heads of the Boys' and Girls' sections greeting the students. The officials distributed the examination hall tickets. Before the programme began, a moment of silence was observed in homage to those who died in the recent earthquakes in Turkiye and Syria.
