Alumni from three Carnegie Mellon global campuses gathered in Dubai, the UAE, to reconnect and network. The event was hosted by Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q). Dean Michael Trick and more than 30 graduates who now live and work in Dubai were at the event. “We are very proud of the multiversity experience we offer our students in Education City,” said Trick. “Many of these alumni do business in Qatar, and we want them to know they have a home at our campus.”
CMU-Q opened in Education City in 2004 at the invitation of Qatar Foundation. With 15 graduating classes, the total number of graduates is more than 1,100. These alumni are part of the Carnegie Mellon network of more than 120,000 graduates worldwide.
