The Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads & Public Places in Qatar has unveiled murals created on the occasion of HH the Amir Sword Festival 2023, in co-operation with the Qatar Racing & Equestrian Club and artists Hassan Bahou and Thamer AlDosari.
Committee chairman Mohamed al-Khaldi said: "We are proud that the committee will play an active role in this important sporting event bearing the name of His Highness the Amir. The murals affirm Qatar's celebration of, and pride in, equestrian sport as it is one of the pillars of Arab culture."
Project design engineer Alya al-Henzab said: "The atmosphere of the equestrian club and the beauty of Arabian horses are being celebrated and highlighted on the murals through their colours and local Qatari horses."
