Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus affirmed the continuation of work and the exertion of all possible efforts until reaching and knowing the origin and source of Covid-19.
Ghebreyesus said in press statements "We need to continue to push until we get the answer," stressing "Knowing how this pandemic started is very, very important and very crucial."
The WHO Director-General strongly denied the information that the organisation had abandoned its investigations into the origins of the pandemic, pointing out that the organisation had sent an official letter to a top official in China weeks ago asking him for Beijing's cooperation in searching for the origin of the virus that first appeared in Wuhan, central China, in December 2019.
