Under the patronage of HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah, the National Service Academy, with the participation of a number of state ministries and institutions organised a number of sports activities at Miqdam Camp, within the framework of the activities of the National Sport Day (NSD) in the presence of HE the Minister of Justice Masoud bin Mohamed al-Ameri, HE the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Staff Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad al-Nabit, and a number of Armed Forces senior officers.
The President of the National Service Academy Major General Saeed bin Hamad al-Nuaimi, explained that the Academy’s participation this year in the NSD witnessed the opening of the (Miqdam) arena. He said the arena is one of the distinguished training venues in the National Service Academy, and will be used to hold many team sports activities and competitions.
The Qatari Amiri Air Force participated in the NSD activities by organising a number of sports events at Al Udeid Air Base, in the presence of the Commander of the Qatar Amiri Air Force Brigadier General (Pilot) Jassem Mohamed al-Mannai with the participation of brotherly and friendly forces.
