More than 30 students attended a symposium on "Management in the Sports Field" that was organised by "Mohamad bin Abdul-Wahhab" Secondary School for Boys under the direction of the Department of Physical Education and Business Administration of the Educational Guidance Department of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. The symposium was also coordinated with the Youth Committee of Al Rayyan Sports Club.
The symposium was co-organised by Ali Salem Afifa, Vice President of Al Rayyan Sports Club, Saud Al Hajri, Head of the Youth Authority at Al Rayyan Sports Club and a representative of the Ministry of Youth, Ayman Hammouda, General Supervisor of Al Rayyan Sports Club, Faisal Al Badr and Ali Hamad Al Kubaisi, (Department of Physical Education Guidance) And Ibrahim Al-Tamimi and Ghassan Fayeq Dalloul (Business Administration Department Guidance).
The symposium aims to provide students with the skill of employing specialised terminology that is used expressively in the context of physical activities, which comes within a program prepared by the physical education coordinator and the school business administration coordinator, with the follow-up and supervision of the school administration. The program includes a set of different activities (seminars - debates - managing sports activities within the school - contributing to the organisation of the "Sports Stars" hockey tournament, which coincides with the country's sports day).
During the program, students implement strategies that show leadership and teamwork skills that help them acquire life skills, debate skills, information and communication technology, and social communication in an ethical and responsible manner while communicating about physical education and events in the school and the community.
